Maria Matveeva is an Italo-Russian singer who, in addition to her career as a lyric soprano in Opera,has experimented various musical genres such as ethno-electronic ,folk, crossover ,world music .Maria is an artist,a natural musical talent,cultivated musicologist with a strong classic education, searching for the new sounds and unique extraordinary international musical experiences.Knowing distant cultures and traditions she is able to turn fascinating and sophisticated sounds into touching,melodic and original compositions.Thanks to these musical experiences and her personal research,Maria has begun different collaborations with international renowned artists such as American composer ,David Bowie pianist Mike Garson ,guru of the world elecronic music Eric Mouquet, anglo-italian musician GAUDI, film composer Ilya Truskovsky , american composer Alessandro Alessandroni Jr. and others.Maria is an Author of the idea of her joint musical project with Deep Forest named SIBERIAN TALES that won Russian World Music Awards. Siberian Tales is based on innovative musical ideas which mixed different musical styles such as electronic music,ethnic elements and lyric voice.Siberian Tales inspired by the birthplace of the Singer -mysterious and unknown land of Siberia. Working on her last musical projects, Maria acts as a producer,author of lyrics, screenwriter and director of her musical videos. Since 2022 Maria began her new author’s project Mysteries of the Voice on the Radio .
