Being raised in Flint, Michigan brought many challenges, losses and lessons. One of those lessons were to wake up, get out and grind. From that “EMG” was born. Maj turned his motto "EMG" Early Morning Grinding into his lifestyle. EMG Maj used music as a tool to escape the harsh realities of his traumatic childhood. EMG Maj draws his inspiration from many different genres and as a result he has a wide range of versatility that's paralleled to the greatest to ever do it. In fact it's very easy to think multiple people are on a song with him when it isn't. EMG Maj even produced the tracks to most of his music.
