Brandon Izac Smith (aka Coincyde) is an American recording artist, producer songwriter. In 2005, he worked with talented artists Ton EZ, Jon Mitchell, D-Vo, Marc E Fresh & J. Constant to form Associated Acts. He released 5 mixtapes and "Another Love Lesson EP." After graduating university in 2006 with a PhD, BlackSmith moved to Denver, Colorado to pursue musical ambitions in a larger market and complete a year long internship at KMG Studios. Soon after, BlackSmith linked up with Asylom Ward Records to produce and engineer. During that time, NoCoast BlackSmith fell into some hard times and was living out of his car making beats on his laptop for 6 months. The perseverance and constant work in the studio allowed him connections in the music industry. In 2015, this led to the subsequent release of the EP, "Understand." It featured a unique blend of old school boom bap, R&B, new age hip hop and funk elements. The EP is currently available on Itunes, Spotify and other digital formats. From the success of "Understand," BlackSmith began to do multiple shows in the Upper and Lower Midwest regions. He released the single, "Stop Teasin'" on his 26th birthday in 2015. It was released for free download on his Soundcloud and later for sell on Itunes and Amazon.
