Raised in Boulder, Colorado, on an eclectic blend of world music, rock 'n' roll, and classical music, Katie began her artist's journey competing as a classical pianist and working as a professional voice over artist in Los Angeles. After relocating back to Boulder, she rediscovered the joy of singing through kirtan (mantra singing), and her band Katie Wise & Bhakti Explosion has graced festival stages worldwide. Her solo work reveals the power of vulnerability as a healing force.
