The Dutch singer/songwriter Nienke Latten was born and raised in the Netherlands. She currently lives in Germany where she works as a musical performer. As a child Nienke could never stop singing and she found a way to express herself through music. Nienke studied music theatre at “Fontys School for Performing Arts” in Tilburg where she took intense singing, dancing and acting classes. After her graduation she got the leading part in the musical “Puss in Boots” and "West Side Story”. She currently plays Princess Jasmin in Disney’s Aladdin. The 25-year-old always pursued her dreams and she will keep doing that. Last year she developed a great passion for writing music. She sat at her piano and intuitively followed the melody and words that entered her mind. That night she wrote her very first song "From a Distance". A song about risking everything for true love. The young producer Sebastian Neugebauer acknowledged her talent for writing and they started their collaboration. Her second single will be released March 20.
