A classically trained pianist and lifelong musician, Christina has dipped her toes into nearly every aspect of music, including: performance, teaching, ensemble work, voice coaching, as well as arranging pieces for piano and composition. She began private piano lessons at age 6, and became heavily involved in various school ensembles shortly after. Playing piano for Jazz Band, accompanying the choir department in concert, as well as coaching and playing for vocal and instrumental soloists for competitions, she became her school's unofficial resident pianist. More recently, she's worked with local churches, theater companies on many musical productions, performed live on WUGA for the "It's Friday" radio show, is a founding member and principal pianist of a new community opera company, and works as an accompanist for students attending UGA and taking private lessons. Bringing creativity and a sense of humor to her music, she has a penchant for Ragtime piano, (including Ragtime covers of classical pieces), classical covers of Heavy Metal music, as well as creating original piano arrangements for popular soundtracks and video game music.
