Since he was as young as 12, Dion Knibb had opportunities to perform ska music with his father Lloyd, the drummer for the legendary Skatalites, so it isn't surprising that he followed in his father's footsteps and became a ska musician in his own right, although he elected to step out front and handle vocals instead. After touring with the Skatalites, the Fab Five, and Unique Vision, he joined the Agitators, a Boston-based combo formed by onetime members of Steady Earnest.
