Ana Barros maintains an active career as a singer, mostly with contemporary music ensembles, having recorded for radio (Antena2) and TV (Rtp1 and Rtp2). She performed with the groups “Som Ibérico”; "De Corda em Corda"; “Fatum Ensemble”; “Performa Ensemble” and “Le Concert Impromptu” in several countries around the world, promoting classical Portuguese music and the tradition of fado. She recorded, with guitarist Augusto Pacheco, chamber music for guitar and voice by Fernando Lopes Graça; with António Oliveira, music by António Chagas Rosa, with Isabel Sá "Palavras oníricas: o surrealismo português" and with Bruno Ribeiro "Modinhas & Seguidillas - Iberian songs in times of revolution" With the pianist Daniel Cunha performed in the show "Severa – O fado de um fado", staged by Pedro Ribeiro, a modern invocation of the great mythical figure of fado: Maria Severa, with the support of the Fado Museum, Antena 2 and Instituto Camões. This project was recorded on CD (2015) with pianist Bruno Belthoise. At the moment, she performs with the group Terra Quente interpreting repertoire from fado, samba and traditional world music, having performed in Prague, Paris, Brazil and Portugal. www.anabarros.com
