As the vocalist for L’Arc-en-Ciel/VAMPS/THE LAST ROCKSTARS and a solo artist, HYDE has built a wide-ranging career, both domestically and internationally. L’Arc-en-Ciel was the first Japanese act to headline at New York’s world-renowned Madison Square Garden, and the first rock band to play at the Japan National Stadium in Tokyo, making HYDE one of the most globally successful Japanese artists. In 2022, HYDE performed across Japan with the first standing-room live house shows in 3 years with his “HYDE LIVE 2022 RUMBLE FISH” and “HYDE LIVE 2022” tours. Then in 2023, with all coronavirus-related restrictions lifted in Japan, HYDE dove right into a one-man tour with 20 shows in 7 major Japanese cities. In November 2022, he joined YOSHIKI, SUGIZO, and MIYAVI to form the band THE LAST ROCKSTARS. The global release of their first single “THE LAST ROCKSTARS (PARIS MIX)” and their debut shows in Japan and the U.S. occurred shortly after in the months that followed. The band got together again in November for “THE LAST ROCKSTARS The 2nd Tour 2023 ‘PSYCHO LOVE’” shows. Most recently, L’Arc-en-Ciel set out for their tour, “ARENA TOUR 2024 UNDERGROUND,” in February 2024. HYDE’s nationwide live house tour “HYDE[INSIDE]LIVE 2024” will kick off in Tokyo in June, followed by additional shows titled “HYDE[INSIDE]LIVE 2024 -EXTRA-” scheduled for October.
