bedhead is an enigma. Pushing boundaries to fuse emo and pop, she’s carving out her very own place in the wider musical landscape. The Seattle native has an expansive discography spanning multiple genres. Songs like “2 texas w/ luv” feel raw, with live instruments and freestyled lyrics, others like the homecomingqueen produced “No_ember” perfectly capture what feels like an evolution of emo fused with pop music. Her songs often feature dozens of diverse artists. Lil Wet Wet and lilbearshawty in particular have become very frequent collaborators. bedhead’s music is then strengthened by her constantly evolving aesthetic developed through her music videos, directed by Lil Wet Wet. This is only the beginning.
