OCHO's life is defined by resilience and determination. Born in Haiti to a Puerto Rican businesswoman, his early years were marked by tragedy. At 13 months, a fatal accident left him in a coma for nearly eight months. Miraculously, he woke just as doctors were about to take him off life support. This experience shaped his ability to overcome obstacles. After recovery, Ocho spent his early childhood in the planes. At three, his parents separated, and his mother moved to the U.S. in the mid-80s. Ocho and his sister, mistreated by caretakers, were relocated by their mother to his godmother's in Martissant. There, his supportive community shaped his values and beliefs. In 1997, Ocho's family moved to Miami, Florida. He attended North Miami Middle and High Schools, known for his charisma and leadership skills. Despite a promising future, Ocho was drawn into the streets. In 2002, while visiting a friend in Little Haiti, he was stopped and robbed by police officer Belfort, leading to false drug charges and his eventual deportation six years later. Despite this, Ocho found solace in music, using his experiences to inspire his lyrics. He founded Inventive Music Group (IMG), empowering marginalized artists. Today, Ocho is a recording artist in the music industry, advocating for social justice and change through powerful storytelling. His journey, filled with raw emotion, is a testament to resilience and determination, proving we can overcome obstacles and create a better future.
