Maria Alexa, a Native New Yorker & born lover, is a multi-talented artist—singer-songwriter, poet, and producer. Her musical journey began when performing for her dad on a toy piano at age 4 and memorizing Andrea Bocelli's 'Con Te Partirò' by lip reading her mom. She has kept a journal since age 7, to write song ideas, love stories, and personal reflections. Maria's early performances spanned high school musicals, chamber choirs, All State, All County, and various college acapella groups. After graduating college in 2016, Maria began uploading covers and original songs to SoundCloud, attracting producers who helped shape her music career. She refined her sound through creativity and experimentation, aiming to connect deeply with listeners. Her debut single, “Sunshine,” a dance-pop love song, was released in 2020. Since then, Maria has released, written, and co-produced over 15 singles independently. Her 2023 performance of “The Blessing” by Elevation Worship went viral on TikTok, leading to a Spotify cover release. She won a Live Nation contest and performed at the Midtown Music Festival in Atlanta, sharing the stage with Billie Eilish , Lizzy McAlpine, & others. Collaborations with Wayne Wilkins and Ian Kimmel produced tracks like “Comfortable” and “Scared to Know You,” exploring themes of love and loss. Maria is now preparing for a 2025 launch, including her fan community “Cherry Avenue,” offering exclusive access to her creative process, new music, and merch.
