Jailenne Cedeno who goes by the stage name of “J-Li”, is a Dominican-American singer, rapper and songwriter. J-Li was born on February 20, 1997. She attended Repertory Company for Theatre Arts High School. J-Li was born and raised in the Bronx, New York and faced many difficulties growing up. She devoted time into her talents which helped her overcome difficult times. J-Li began writing poetry at the age of 8 transitioning into writing her own music at age 14. She has been featured on News 12, competed in the Coast2Coast competition & has been making her mark ever since.
