Doc Davinci is a unique one of a kind artist that has been perfecting the blend between 90s BoomBap and New Age Modern Hip-hop, With family ties deeply rooted in the Pacific Northwest and the East Coast his style of music and smooth rugged disposition greatly compliment his notable love for his craft and culture. Born in Seattle WA and raised in Tacoma WA Doc has been exposed to the different active urban scenes of life and draws from his experiences the good, the bad, and the ugly to use as inspiration behind his music projects. Doc began writing poetry and music at an early age and explains his big influences being that of Anita Baker, Stevie Wonder, WuTang clan, and Nas among many others. Doc Davinci expressed his mission is to bring the fans and people of the culture out of the dark pointing out the increasing violence and drug use that is so commonly and obviously promoted in his communities. “I deal with knowledge of self so it’s important while expressing the struggles and violence that I dealt with not to make that glorified as if that’s what I’m doing now speaking life is the goal for our youth not death” Doc added.
