Caldo Hit$ is a rapper/producer/sound engineer from the South side of Johannesburg (South Africa) who mixes and masters his own music on Pro Tools. Caldo is inspired by Michael Jackson, 2Pac and Snoop Dogg to name a few. With regard to his style as an engineer, Caldo loves heavy low end with adlibs and vocal samples that are audible enough to create a groove with his lead vocals. His music is spacey, dark, trippy and happy most of the time. Caldo watches Cartoon Network when writing songs. Musically, Caldo's songs feature a structure not too popular in rap which is present in his solo debut, Before My Battery Dies which he produced, mixed and mastered under the alias Ikutaro Tarentiino.<br>
