Wellington Diaz de Jesus (born June 25, 1989, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) known professionally as Lington DR has re-emerge to the newest Dominican urban scenes with a vicious attack. Originally from Los Frailes, Santo Domingo, Dom. Rep. Lington has been capable of capturing the rawness & essence of the poor & disenfranchised people of his neighborhood. Influenced by Latin artist like Vico-C and American artist like Nelly. Lington DR has fused the best of these different worlds with his difficult upbringing to become a genuine artist among the bunch. Ever since he was 13 years old, he has been working on becoming a rapper. Writing about his daily struggles and his neighborhood’s crisis, has shaped him into the lyrical monster he is today.
