Grammy Nominated Mariano Diaz is one of the most well-known Argentinian-Spanish pianists/producers/composers, having accomplished an extraordinary musical career. His style falls in between Jazz, Blues and Rock. He has more than a dozen recordings under his own name. As a sideman his work is especially remarkable with Pedro Iturralde (as a pianist and musical director). He also played and/or recorded extensively with Perico Sambeat, Dave Liebman, Jorge Pardo, Paquito D Rivera, Chano Dominguez, Gerardo Nuñez, Enrique Morente, Antonio Serrano, Javier Colina, Sonny Fortune, Eric Marienthal, Javier Malosetti, Armando Manzanero and Argentinian rock legend Nito Mestre. As a producer, he worked with Pedro Iturralde, Pedro Ruy Blas and Argentinian rock stars including Miguel Cantilo, Litto Nebbia, Leon Gieco, Juan Carlos Baglietto, Fabiana Cantilo, Lito Vitale, Hilda Lizarazu and Claudio Gabis, among others.
