Felix Clancy also known as Clancy is an Australian Alternative Hip-Hop Artist from Sydney. In 2016 Felix began producing 90’s inspired beats and uploading to youtube under his alias “Ixy242”. In 2018, Felix began writing his own lyrics and composing original Hip-Hop songs at the age of 14. Felix produced 4 mixtapes in this year under “Ixy242” until eventually changing his artist name to “FWS FELIX” in late 2019. In 2020 Felix released his first mixtape/album under this alias after a year long break in 2019. In June of 2020 Felix released Multiple Thoughts, Volume 1, doing 80,000 streams first week and establishing Felix as a young prodigy at just the age of 16. Felix went on to sell vinyls and CD’s of this album throughout the rest of 2020 while working on his first release of 2021, Two Sides. Two Sides featured some of Felix’s outstanding tracks like “those old times” “family” “myself now” and did 90,000 streams in its first week and is Felix’s most streamed project to date at 99K overall. Throughout this year Felix took a step back for a while, releasing a few singles and songs before eventually changing his artist name to “Clancy” in September of 2021, the 3rd name change of his career. In August of 2021, Felix released his 3rd project and 2nd studio album Clancy. This project received extremely positive reviews, getting an average of 7.7 on review website Rateyourmusic. The self titled project did 40,000 streams first week and continues to increase in reputation.
