Kent based duo Puerto Montt City Orchestra became friends when they bonded over a shared love of dance music and rum cocktails. With wide ranging musical influences across many genres, both Angus and Tim have enjoyed DJing and dancing in their earlier years and recently started transforming their love of all things Balearic into music production. The pair cite their influences as unfashionably slow dance music in most of it's forms. Angus has released music in his past on UK house label "Luxury Service" as Downtown Loop whilst Tim has been in a number of different bands over the years. They liken their music to that that gets played as the excitement of a night starts to build and people start to relax and trust the DJ. Signed to the Higher Love label, Puerto Montt City Orchestra have found their happy place.
