Lia Rose and long-time collaborator Daniel McKenzie relaunched Built for the Sea in 2015, signing with Tom Morello and Ryan Harvey's label Firebrand Records. Firebrand is about taking a stand for social justice: "We know that music alone does not change the world, but we recognize that it is an integral part of the movements that do." 
 Built for the Sea's two most recent releases, 'All Too Human' and ‘Milnesium’ were inspired by a political landscape they describe as ‘Twighlight Zone meets The Shining’. "This is a soundscape for our fear, hope, and resistance," says the duo.
