J Coppa born Jevaughn Callum is an International Dancehall and Fusion music artiste born on the Caribbean island of Jamaica. J Coppa grew up on the North Coast of Jamaica in the Parish of St. Ann, he then moved to Kingston to pursue music. Since then, his life has been a movie, from songwriting for other acts to almost giving up on music, through it all he has held on to his dreams. J Coppa’s heavy bass voice and unique flow has set him apart from every other artiste, not to mention his versatility in genre bending. His first single “Cinderella” was one of the first in the Afrobeat Dancehall wave, and he has not ceased to recreate his sound every chance he gets. From old school Hip Hop ( his recent releases “Stack N’ Pile” & “Bush Weed” both Ft Raphael The Don to Drill, like his latest single “No Love”. J Coppa intends to inject the authentic Jamaican sound into every track he releases, despite the genre. He is currently working on his first EP “Surely Love Kills” as the appetizer for his “Flawless Victory” EP produced by Triple Diamond producer Gustah. He refers to his sound as; “Future Dancehall” as it embodies a total reintroduction of Dancehall utilizing authentic flows and modern sounds.
