Shuajo Blake is a boundary pushing artist hailing from Nairobi, Kenya. Lauded for his rapping ability, vision and intricate songwriting he made his mark in 2019 when featured on Ghost Town and Ice Stacks by Kash Pleen. He has morphed overtime into a force to be reckoned with, with each new release he gives us glimpses of his life from childhood to present day. Dedicated to his craft and having an acquired taste, his catalogue offers a wide array of music to be selected from. After a lengthy delay and much anticipation he finally dropped his debut album, Lone Pulp Repulse Stereo which was produced and engineered by Emmet Knight and Mvtonthetrack. The album was a melting point in which he dissected with reverence the manic episodes and anxiety cycles he went through in his life canonically offering sombre and detail-packed experience. He is characterized with intricate lyricism, fresh new school cadences packed with hard-hitting bars and an ever-evolving repertoire and you are guaranteed a new direction with each new release. His latest offering is a four-track ep, 'Wait Till It's Dark' with longtime collaborator and friend, Kash pleen a rollercoaster ride divulging their ambitions, where they're headed whilst sprinkling an ounce of flashback into this merry go round as they reflect on their current state.
