NAILBITER is the synthesized alter ego of Producer Josh Korody. The project came to light with the release of FORMATS LP in 2015, following the SWORM EP in 2016 with production by Jeff Berner (Psychic TV) and the 2017 EP WAVESHAPER both on the label Hand Drawn Dracula. In 2019 Korody released an Industrial Techno EP with Jaclyn Kendall for their side project TIN on the Manchester label Natural Sciences as well as working closely with Toronto duo MSTRKRFT for their ORO Records releasing 3 singles and a video. In 2020 Korody started his own Techno imprint (Nodding Heads) after 3 releases it's seen support from DJ/Producers like I Hate Models, Endlec, The Brvtalist, Stephanie Sykes, Madwoman, DAVE The Drummer to name a few. Brace will be Korody's 2nd LP and 4th release on HDD, this time taking a step back into his inner electronic beginnings that leaned heavily on experimentation rather than form. It's a collection of older and present idea's that creates a more cinematic and visual state of mind. The more the pieces fit together the more of a fictitious soundtrack this album creates for the listener. Exclaim Music calls Brace "a dark, pulsing kick in the neck. Techno with a DIY punk aesthetic and occasionally jazzy noise experiments scream across this 15-track behemoth." Nailbiter has shared the stage with Psychic TV, Drew McDowall and Group A.
