Under the name Gore Tech, George Flett creates intense breakcore and dubstep heavily influenced by ragga-jungle, death metal, and sci-fi/cyberpunk. Originally based in Manchester, U.K., Flett started the project in 2011 and began playing raves and free parties across Europe and the Middle East. His work caught the attention of French breakcore veteran Rotator, who released Gore Tech's "Heretic" 12" on Peace Off in 2012, as well as Warhound (a collaboration with LLamatron) on sublabel Ruff that same year. Gore Tech's Machine Throne EP arrived on Ad Noiseam in March of 2013, and Japanese label Murder Channel released From the Earth to the Skyscrapers two months later. Gore Tech then moved to Berlin, Germany, and began collaborating with other well-known breakcore artists such as Enduser and Bong-Ra. A collaborative remix EP by Bong-Ra, Gore Tech, and metal artist Author & Punisher arrived on Enduser's Sonicterror label in 2014. Gore Tech's ties to the metal scene strengthened further when he contributed to Anaal Nathrakh's Desideratum album, also in 2014. Ad Noiseam released Gore Tech's full-length debut, Futurphobia, in 2015. ~ Paul Simpson, Rovi
