Variety is the spice of life! I get bored easily. Ideas fly into my head. Some go straight through and some stick. As soon as I thought I could retire from my business, I followed my passion. "Music was my first love and it will be my last" I love a good melody, a body bending beat, a pounding bass line, a soaring top line sung by a choir of angles, a dirty guitar riff, a gentle ballad full of meaning, the off-beat rhythm of a Reggae classic, the fun of watching Madness live on stage, the joy of Ian Dury's lyrics, the talent of Ed Sheran, the attitude of Taylor Swift's Shake it off, the depth of the Eagle's lyrics, the spine tingling chorus of Mike and the Mechanic's "Living Years", the thought provoking rapps from Eminem ….. I could go on and on. The beauty of today's music technology is that it's now possible to create pretty much any style of music at home using software, a bit of music savvy and a few live musicians. First and foremost I'm a singer, a songwriter, a lyricist and secondly a 'would be' producer. My next album will hopefully have a few tracks where I have done all the production myself but for now (2018) the tracks you can hear have been fully produced (or in some cases polished) by my two producers Joe Davidson and Anthony Galatis.
