Shlomy Alster Composer, arranger, musical producer, trombone player, conductor, and teacher For many years I've been playing, writing and producing music in many different styles: Jazz, Latin jazz, Funky, Fusion, Ballads, vocal and instrumental combining acoustic and electronic music and music that is very personal and less defined stylistically. I also play and on a few occasions conduct classical music and compose classical music for orchestras and chamber music. Furthermore I I've been integrating Arab music in my music as you can hear in "Desert Breeze". All the above I do in collaboration with my brother Rami Alster (composer, arranger, saxophone player, conductor, and teacher). We have two albums and one more on the way. Recently we have finished our Jazz album (double album) which contains also more 'traditional' pieces but also more 'innovative' pieces and a few standards with special arrangements. We have a Latin Jazz album. The disc consists of pieces influenced by different Latin styles: Brazilian Afro-Cuban and more abstract modern Latin Jazz. Our next upcoming album is Fusion and Funky Jazz.
