Biography

‘A consistently evolving talent’ are the words that spring to mind when discussing Zeo. Born and raised in the suburbs of Wolverhampton, making his mark early on in Grime with his presence on pirate radio stations as well as events, Zeo saw great success after his physical release of ‘Solitary Confinement’ in 2006, drawing the attention of some of the originals from the London Grime scene. His technical style with sharp delivery earned him the title of one of the best MCs and artists to birth from the Midlands. Evolution continued, and Zeo made his mark in 4x4 and Bassline, teaming up with producer, TRC, to create some of the most iconic songs to emerge from the duo, earning them both gold sales with ‘Ministry of Sound: The Sound of Bassline 2’. The winter of 2016 saw a collaboration with the highly regarded SBTV, and the release of the ominous and clever single, ‘Liars’, featuring East Midlands’ dominant talent, Eyez. This caught the attention of the established rap star, Hopsin, earning Zeo a support act place on Hopsin’s ‘Savageville’ tour in 2017. Now living in the East Midlands, he’s continued progressing through his roots - Grime. The lockdown collaboration with Mr Traumatik of ‘Sick’ saw staggering numbers on streaming platforms, and fans flocked to hear the greatness. His consistency, flawless accuracy and attention to detail have seen listeners turn into followers overnight. Platforms such as Lad Bible and Molson Coors have reached out to collaborate with Zeo.
