Born in Oneida, New York, 21 year old Adien Slater started singing at a very young age. He didn’t start taking it seriously until he was 15 years of age. At the age of 16, he released his first song, “Jocelyn Flores Remix”, to soundcloud, and he grew a following quickly, growing over 1,000 streams after his first song and over 100 followers. When covid hit, he started suffering from depression, anxiety, and alcohol abuse. To cope with his feelings, he started writing. In Adien’s words, “Writing music to me is my therapy sessions, whether people want to listen or not, it helps me cope with my emotions”. His name started to get more known after he released his debut album, “DEMON TIME”, with over 200,000 streams on spotify to this day. In 2022, he released a second album, “the dark/infinite thoughts of a mastermind” and in 2023 he released his third album, “DEMON TIME II”. With his newest EP “2023”, he’s finally made a name for himself in the Upstate NY hip-hop community, collaborating with artists such as Bradeee, TP, and he’s in the works with upcoming artist Tr3boy. Adien’s goal with music is to help people who do suffer from mental illness and drug abuse, and let them know that they’re not alone in this world.
