Hialeah born, Miami-bred by Colombian parents, Joshua Tovar, professionally known as JoshuaLife (previously known as JayTee), picked up his first guitar at the age of 8 in kindergarten and started taking private classes in the second grade. By the end of middle school Tovar had already performed in large recitals and aspired an artist career in the music industry. He couldn't find instrumentals that he found perfect and started making his own beats, recording and sampling his guitar. This gave birth to his unique style of guitar sampling seen throughout his music. He began dating his highschool sweetheart January 14 of his freshman year. After achieving a professional skill level certification at the National Federation of Music in the University of Miami, he began work on his debut mixtape, and after an injury at the first football game with his highschool "Coral Reef Barracudas" ending his Junior season he rapidly finished the album and began working on an upcoming (possibly) EP. https://www.instagram.com/joshualifemusic/
