Albanian rapper Ardit Kantarxhiu known as Arday stepped out as a rapper in 2007, where he formed a rap group with some of his childhood friends called “Young Brothers” in Prishtina, Kosove. Despite being unsigned they managed to create their own studio, record over +100 songs, most of them were never published. Few years later he signed a deal with Black Fish Entertainment, an Albanian label owned by Genc Prelvukaj. That’s when his first official video was released. A year later, in collaboration with Bigem and Fajt the project called “A duhem” was released for the public. As a young rapper he always wanted to bring back the culture of using old school samples, remixes and remakes, something that was not seen often in Albanian hiphop culture. That’s when he made the song “Tripi (Krippy Kush remake)” and after that the most important feature of his career until that day came, the song with the pop-folk sensation Arta Hajra was released, named “Hajde”. That song had a huge impact and success for his musical career. As years went by Arday and BFE (Black Fish Entertainment) parted ways, and he decided to open his own studio with friends. That’s when “Whoopty remake” came out and people started to love him even more. In 2022 he moved to Halmstad, Sweden. Now, he is working on his new album as a single artist.
