Biography

Mr. 33 Degrees, Hey-Zooz surfaced with his debut mixtape Now Hiring that garnered attention from Grammy Award winner, Craig King, which helped him storm onto the Atlanta hip-hop scene with performances during 2019 Superbowl week in Atlanta, Georgia where he currently resides. Born in California, to a Jewish father and African-American mother, at the age of 7 his family moved to Maale Adumim, Israel with his 6 siblings. Determined to find an outlet for his precocious talent, he began writing poetry which developed into what is now an uncanny lyrical ability and unique sound. After returning to the United States and his parents' divorce, by the age of 16, he was living on the street. Inspired by artists such as Damian Marley, Tupac Shakur, and Nas, he was motivated through his noble struggle to make a better life for himself and his younger siblings. The boundaries for his art and personal life have been blurred as he condemns the injustices that many African Americans face today. After releasing multiple singles, its becoming clear he is also facing an internal battle after the release of his album Welcome to Life which was released on March 11th, 2021.
