Canadian duo THE CHEMISTS is the brainchild of songwriter Martin Meunier (A.K.A. Marty Party) and producer/songwriter Victor Cooligan (A.K.A. RIPVCTR). 
 The two met in 2018 when RIPVCTR was enlisted as an engineer for Marty Party’s return to music after a multiple year hiatus. After building a strong rapport in the studio, RIPVCTR took on a larger role as the sole producer and co-writer for what would become five Marty Party projects over three years. 
 Throughout this time, they also begun penning songs for other artists. Their first break came in the form of co-writing the hit single “Smackables” for LA-based boyband PRETTYMUCH in 2020. 
 With the pandemic in full swing and Marty’s solo career in limbo, the songwriting duo decided to try their luck at putting together a project that captures both of their respective vocal and songwriting styles. This eventually turned into the release of their first EP “COMEDOWN” in October of 2021. 
 After receiving positive reception from their peers, the two decided to take a risk and go into 2022 with THE CHEMISTS as their main focus.
