Adam Podell (PoDELL) is a DJ and producer from New York. Growing up as a drummer influenced by bands like Led Zeppelin and eventually Tool, he has a keen ear and taste for unique rhythms. As an experimental bass producer, he strives for wonky rhythms which deliver a trippy, psychedelic punch. As a DJ, he takes the listener on a journey from the alien sounds of experimental dubstep and bass through to hip hop inspired dubstep and drum and bass. He is all about taking you on a trip spanning many different energies and moods, but always on the wonkier side of whatever genre he’s playing.
