Biography

Originally born in Chicago’s Cook County hospital, the New Orleans Native, Forever Hood hails from the notorious uptown section of the crescent city, by way of the 3rd Ward. Home to the most notable figures and culture vastly spread through present day hip hop. Being raised in such a rich city, known for its culture, food and southern hospitality, the undertone to this story is that of struggle, poverty decision making and lack of resources.
Inspired by artists, such as, Lil Wayne, Juvenile, Marvin Gaye and Soulja Slim. Hoods sound is unparalleled to any and is what a New Orleans native would refer to as a “gumbo pot.” While being able to sprinkle soft melodies on top of some of the most lyrical and well put to together bars, hip hop will soon come to appreciate him for. Both trappers and your everyday American dad can both share in similarity with his music which has cultivated into a sound that he likes to call “Trap Pop.”
Motivated by the negative stigma placed on inner city communities, such as the one known as home. It has been his dream and goal to reach a level of success and be able to bring resources to those in need. Be it health care, education, or just someone there in their time of need. If his name Forever Hood is not a clear enough indication of who he is fighting for, the New Orleans Native has been seen around the country, on the front-line protesting police brutality.
