Indio-based rapper and producer, Grumpstr, started off making beats for fun at the age of 13, until years passed by and he realized the love and passion he had for beat making. At the age of 21, Grumpstr began to start handing out beats to local rappers and artist from the Coachella Valley. As time passed by, his name and versatile sound began to make noise and caught the attention of bigger-name artists around the valley. While being a producer, Grumpstr also found his passion for rapping, and began to combine his melodic vocals to his raw lyrical style. 
 Born Dominick Ruiz, Grumpstr grew up in the city of Indio, located in Southern California. He found his love and passion for music at a young age. He came across his first laptop at 13 and started to make beats with advice and mentorship from his older friends. As time passed by, Grumpstr began to understand the concept of music production and started to give his beats away for free to the up and coming artist in the valley. After some years of making beats, he started to experiment with rapping and also fell in love with the art. Till this day, Grumpstr balances his love for rapping and making beats collaborating with several local artist with the goal to make some big placements and make his name a household name as an artist and producer.
