Biography
Jobba is an Italian singer and rapper. He started his musical journey in 2003, when he wrote his first rap songs. He dropped his first indipendent album in 2008, 'Sangue e Zucchero'. In the same year he started exploring the reggae music world, joining a reggae band in Naples as a singer. In 2009 he was also part of the rap duo called Esbeltos. They published their album in the same year, 'Taglie Calibrate'. In the following years he has become pretty popular among Italian Sound Systems crews, as he has been performing in many dancehalls all over the country. In 2011 he started writing rap songs in another duo, Chaka Boom. Together with his old time friend Corno, they started giving live concerts and singing in many hip hop jams in Italy. In 2013 they dropped their first album 'Presente'. In the same year, Jobba formed his own reggae band, The Vesuvians and he recorded 'Everyday I Hear', his first 7 inches vinyl single produced by Capra Records. In 2015 he recorded two more reggae vinyl singles, produced by Real Rock Hi Fi: 'Stronger Than Them' and 'Voice Of The People'. The songs were composed and played by I Neurologici, a reggae band from Rome and Jobba wrote and sang his lyrics. In 2016, he started singing in another reggae group, Napoli Rockers Syndicate with which he played as a backing vocalist in Dennis 'Black Beard' Bovell live concert in Naples.See also:Chaka Boom
