IAMSHADXW, formerly known by Project Shadow, is a musical duo consisting of x2 platinum producer Cody Norton and David Lusk. Heavily indulged in electronic music, they are genre-bending and experimental with what they create. Starting out in 2010, IAMSHADXW has accumulated over 30 million views throughout the years and brought joy to many young teenagers and kids in the early 2010’s with some Sonic the Hedgehog inspired dubstep and also some major breakthrough underground hits in the dubstep scene as it was taking place at it’s peak in ‘09-‘11. Unfortunately, as from December 2018, Cody decided to depart from the project to pursue a different genre and alias which has now become his main priority. With over 15 million plays in just one year and even noticed by big names, shows around America and platinum streams, Cody has now put focus on his new projects and occasionally revisits IAMSHADXW for the fun and for the experimental side of things with reoccurring collaborations with David. After the passing of his boyfriend, Drako Lee, who also was a close friend to David, Cody took a two year hiatus from the industry at the peak of his platinum streaming career in other alias’ and David had also left the industry to cope for that time period.
