Bongeka Sthandiwe Shezi - professionally known as Sxdie - is a South African singer and songwriter from Durban. Growing up in the small township of Waterloo, she started her music career in high school at the age of 16. She then recorded her first song "You Don't" which was produced by Case-Klowzed. She later collaborated with artists Blxckie and LuMai on a song titled "Do Me" which was produced by Odin. Sxdie brings her idiosyncratic sense of humor to her music. Her melodic style reflects on her love for RnB. She approaches her songs by recording music that not only convey what she is feeling, but also what her audience can relate to.
