London born Mayda Forth charged the music scene in may 2021 with soothing R&B vocals infused with UK rap that emotes self-assured vulnerability, inspired by 90's R&B artists Joe, 112 and Keith Sweat and more recent R&B/Hip-Hop artists such as Drake, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Bryson Tiller and Daniel Caesar. 
 Mayda started writing daily at 16 to help process his thoughts. Dubbed 'Professor' at school for his word analysis and articulation, found his niche in transcribing his ideologies to music. After studying Business at college he later found a job to finance his aspiration of becoming an established artist. A keen reader and learner, propelled by basketball player Steph Curry's inspirational quote, "I can do all things", Mayda mixed and mastered his debut single "Kindness For Weakness" himself, a skill self-taught through trial and error with results that would hold its own amongst professionals.
