LaMarius Pier’ Caldwell ( born July, 14, 1985), better known by his stage name Boss P, is an American rapper, songwriter, director, and photographer. An Alabama native raised in Tulsa, OK, he began his rap career as a battle rapper in high school and later joined a short-lived rap group, The Yung Wolves. In 2005, he released his first radio single “That’s What’s Up” and in 2006 he created a Tulsa based label, Country Swag Cartel. Boss P has released three mixtapes, “Terrorism 4 Hire” (2010), E.P.I.C. (2011), and B.O.S.S. (2012), and a joint project with Tulsa rapper Yung Villin, Boss-V (2012). He founded Black Warrior Media Group in 2016 and released his debut album, #PRESSURE, in December of 2017. He is known for his creative delivery, laid back demeanor, and witty wordplay.
