Gerry Dupe! Born Gerry Duperroy is a Ft. Lauderdale born Christian rap artist. His hunger for music&nbsp;began when he was 9 years old watching music videos and imitating Usher and Genuine's dance moves with his older brothers. By age 10 He was performing Kirk Franklin's "Stomp" verse in his Step-father's Church with His Christian family.<br><br>Already loosing his father at age 4, To cope with His mothers death at age 11, Gerry Dupe began to look at life differently and&nbsp;started writing poetry. His life took a drastic turn after going to a foster home in Boston, where he and his siblings were abused and mistreated. By age 13 He moved to Brooklyn with his Aunt and Uncle. It was there He turned His poetry into songs and began to make beats around them. By the time he was 16 years old, Gerry Dupe's first self recorded song was called, "Struggle to survive." <br><br>As Gerry Dupe began to grow in his Music Artistry, His cousin motivated him to move to Philadelphia. There he worked with "Tweek Productions" and dropped a Mixtape in 2011 called "Walk With Me" under the name Bruklin. He talked about His past and life of homelessness to his last song which was titled "Where's Life Gonna Take Me" <br><br>In 2011 Gerry Dupe also got saved and took a little break from music to grow in his walk with Christ. Today He continues!<br><br>"I always&nbsp;spoke about realness in life, I want to inform&nbsp;the world of GOD's standard of morality, while motivating people to have hope."<br><br>When asked, "What is your purpose in music?"<br><br><br><br>
