Boni was first formally introduced in 2006 when she featured on the song "Lost for a While" by 015B as a vocalist under her real name Shin Bo Kyung. This song has become a go-to song for aspiring vocalists and numerous contenders on audition shows. After releasing her debut EP [Nu One] in 2010, Boni has steadily released well-received albums and singles, from [1990], [LOVE], [4cm], to her second full length, [Shin Bo Kyung]. With her second EP [1990], Boni won Best R&B Album at the 9th Korean Music Award. Boni’s talent is a combination of fascinating vocal techniques, her ability to express inner feeling with her voice, and most importantly, her sincerity for singing, which still remains the same today.
