Adilson da Costa Correia, known as Kayo Costa. Born in Mozambique, in the province of Manica, in 1994, Kayo Costa began his passion for the art of DJing in 2010, when he played for the first time at his high school graduation party and then came the desire to become a professional DJ. From 2014 onwards, he worked and took the art to another level, connecting with the audience on the dance floor through mixing skills, creating fans, admirers and gaining the trust of local and provincial event promoters. In 2021, he took a leap of faith and moved to Maputo to pursue his dream of expanding his career. Quickly gaining recognition, Kayo Costa decided to challenge himself to become a DJ/PRODUCER and in 2023 released his first EP, showcasing his signature style of Latin Afro Tech, collaborating with artists such as Owa Oda, Tsimo, Coherence, Zander Baronet and others . Gaining prominence in the industry, Kayo Costa's energetic performances have graced several entertainment events and clubs, where he has shared the stage with artists such as Barata, Skywhite, Koraya and 33Hz. His diverse background contributes to the rich and varied nature of his musical style.
