NMBRND stands as a tall hopeful in West-Coast Hip-Hop. The (2015) Epic Records signee was preparing for his debut album after a very busy and successful 2014, which included the release of The G.R.E.A.T. Tape II, and then a year later the signing of his record deal. Namebrand now spelt NMBRND had to rebrand and rebuttal after his path to the top got redirected when Epic Records and A&R Sha Money XL came to a mutual agreement to go their separate ways. But struggle and adversity was nothing new to THE DESERT BEACH KID who always found a way to prevail and that’s what his music represents. Fast-forward, after the IE/LCB artist took a 3-year hiatus which was partially spent battling depression from reaching the heights of his childhood dreams of (signing a record deal) and being crowned Cali’s next king to being dropped from the label after A&R Sha money (50 Cent, Game, Big K.R.I.T.) parted ways. On top of the everyday struggles of being a husband, father and provider he had to “bite the bullet and reload” THE BLUE COLLAR KING decided it was time to “suffocate all excuses” and get back to work. Perfecting his songwriting and recording skills, then forming a new label (O.C.D. MUSIC) with his long time partner in crime Seige Monstracity (Tyrese, Lil Wayne, YG). NMBRND returns well seasoned with a vengeance, Records in the vault and a whole new approach deciding to drop 48 songs until 2020 hits “The G.R.E.A.T 48” Is now in progress and we welcome all to join us on this journey.
