Formed Mandalay with Saul Freeman late ‘94, released 3 albums on V2 Records - “empathy” , “Instinct” and “Solace” .. Around the same time a collaboration with Sleepthief led to the song “You Did A Good Thing”. In 2012 came an EP “Quarterbright” released digitally, comprising 3 sparse and meditative home recordings mixed by Jorg Surrey in Berlin. More recently a collaboration with Steve Jansen led to the track “Faced with Nothing” included on his album “Tender Extinction”. A new single “song for Rachel” was released digitally July 2020, produced at home with a string arrangement and mix by Steve Jansen.
