Veslemøy Narvesen is a Norwegian drummer and composer, currently based in the city of Trondheim (NO). Known as one of the leading, up-and-coming jazz-musicians of the Norwegian scene, she has marked herself with groups like Mall Girl, Schemes Quartet, Kongle Trio, Benjamín Gísli Trio, Amalie Dahl’s Dafnie and Mona Krogstad Quartet. She is also known for her work with artists like Malin Pettersen, Mathias Angelhus and the Norwegian Grammy Award-winning artist Moddi. Her first release as a soloartist presents her varied style as a creator, displaying music with influence from pop, contemporary jazz and chambermusic - among others. The full debutalbum was released on Jazzland Recordings in October of 2023, earning the title of "This falls finest Norwegian album" by Audun Vinger in Dagens Næringsliv.
