With his fusion of Hip Hop, Reggae, Afrobeat, and Pop, Lite Boy emerged in the early part of the 2018 as one of Nigeria's fastest-rising stars. The Hit Sound-produced 2018 single "Like This" proved to be his breakout smash and create the way for his EP-debut, 1999, a year later. Over the next three years, Lite released one more EP Album and collaborated with a variety of artists. His international exposure widened with 2019 Let Me Go, which hit number 30 on the Billboard Reggae chart and won the HHF award for international artist of the Year. 2020 “Love No More” and 2021 “Broken Child” were both widely acclaimed and charted in several countries. After becoming one of first Nigerian to headline a show at The Collection Fashion Show, he released his second EP album, Lust or Love, in 2023. Lite Boy was born Oluwaseun Abdulazeez Salami, Abuja, Nigeria, in 1999. He began making music at just 8 years old, he start sneaking off to a friend’s house who was making instrument AFRO BEATS . Armed with these means, he began to freestyling over beats on an old computer. After he graduated, he moved to united states. In 2018, the 19-year-old meet the CEO & Pred. of 8M Agency. This pin-pointed the beginning of connecting his sound with the continent of Africa, having spent most of his youth immersed in American acts like Michael Jackson . As a result of his new discoveries, Oluwaseun created a confluence of genres that would become his signature sound.
