Kaela Jenna is a young singer/songwriter who is passionate about creative arts. From a young age, she knew that she had a deep desire to create music. Growing up in the Fiji Islands, filled with intricate musical culture, as well as in Melbourne, Australia, enabled her opportunities to create and release music to overflow. In 2019, Kaela participated in Australia’s National musical competition called ‘RockFest’, and made it as a finalist with her school band. Although she and her band did not win, this sparked the start of her music career. Heading into 2020, she took up musical classes where she developed her sound and further released her debut single ‘Do It’ in early 2021. Kaela likes to think of herself as an experimental artist, who likes ‘to create music that doesn’t fit into any one genre’. She is an independent artist who loves to create visual scenes that fit well with her music, in a way that connects with the audience. She tends to compose music that is meaningful to her, and reflects her life experiences.
