Kevin Ford is known primarily as the keyboardist and producer for various Chicago groups such as Chicago Afrobeat Project and Tony Allen, Imperial Boxmen, Elev8tor and others over the last several decades. He began his music endeavors as a DJ in Chicago in the 80's during the early days of house and his selector style has since followed the evolution of electronic music into the genres of deep house, broken beat, and afro house. He has produced tracks and remixes since the 90's that cross between downtempo, house, and world music.
