Shaped by their native city of Los Angeles’ diverse underground, Diego Cuevas and Jackson Englund developed their unique sound by combining elements like the instrumentation and dreamy vocals of indie pop mixed with synths and drum machines influenced by house & electro. After starting their party Gari Safari alongside family and friends Anabel Englund, Human life and Matt Ossentjuk they created a platform to play their live sets and dj sets to packed out warehouses. This opened the gate to playing world class clubs, Output (Brooklyn), Lost Beach Club (Ecuador), Circus (Tokyo), Xex (Tokyo), Church (Colorado) Sun Sound (Mexicali). They strive to continue to create music that bridges the gap between indie and underground music, performing live sets as well as dj sets around the world.
